Ep. 78: Nobody Does It Better

Hi! My name is Terry J. Aman and this installment marks my 78th episode of VideoFuzzy, reporting the progress I've made in cataloging nearly 3,000 VHS transfers and digital recordings.

For this installment, titled "Nobody Does It Better," in my Friday Night Feature I talk about James Bond opening sequences from "Dr. No" to "No Time to Die" -- then force a bot to write one! I track Bond film connections throughout my media collection, and in Fond Reflections, I celebrate the life of Stephen Sondheim.

In my Classic Collection (VHS-to-DVD transfers), I've cataloged through disc 1,225. Comments on the "Harper's Island" finale, a documentary on diplomat and former Minot resident Herro Mustafa in "American Herro," when bad shows happen to great actors, and the "Torchwood: Children of Earth" miniseries.

In my Current Collection (digital recordings), comments on Season 13 of "Doctor Who," the "4400" reboot, streaming "Only Murders in the Building," "Hamilton," "WandaVision," also "American Horror Stories Double Feature," a few musical items including a Queen + Adam Lambert documentary, songs by Missy Elliott, Britney Spears and Ghost, and an Austin City Limits concert with John Batiste. Edward Montez in a local commercial along with other cool commercials for DirecTV and Progressive Insurance and biography entries on legends Lucille Ball and Elizabeth Taylor. Additional spoiler-y comments on the "SurrealEstate" finale and the premiere of ABC's "Queens."

In what I've been watching, comments on Dakota Stage Limited's production of Jason Robert Brown's musical "The Last Five Years." Powerful performances. A request to see if anyone can access this podcast through my VideoFuzzy Facebook page -- it should be available for mobile users, but might be tough to find if you're not actually moderating the page.

And between the production and the video and the song, this one got pretty involved. So if you're enjoying this, please take a moment to rate and review my podcast, and if you know of anyone who might enjoy it, please tell a friend. Thanks!

Finally, a link to my #007th installment of "VideoFuzzy: The Video," talking about James Bond openers: https://youtu.be/56nQdsvRcdQ - check it out! And have a safe and wonderful holiday season!
