Hi! My name is Terry J. Aman and this installment marks my 38th episode of "VideoFuzzy," my twice-monthly progress report on cataloging more than 2,700 VHS transfers and digital recordings. In this installment, titled "Shows I'm Not Watching," I chat with Jesse Zimmerman of The Average Movie Nerd blog about, well, shows I'm not watching, including "FBI," "SEAL Team," "S.W.A.T.," "Archer," "This Is Us," "A Million Little Things," "Castle Rock," "Charmed" and the "Magnum P.I." reboot. We also chat a little bit about "Supernatural," which I am watching, but I left it in anyway.
I've been watching a lot of TV lately and have gotten the DVR boiled down into the 25 percent range, with good prospects to get it completely cleared out over Thanksgiving weekend -- just in time to actually start watching "A Million Little Things" because Jesse made it sound amazing. While I have yet to catalog all of this viewing, I have recorded my 200th DVD in my current collection.
All of this has put a crimp in my overall cataloging efforts recently. However, in What I've Been Watching, this past week I took in the eighth season finale of "American Horror Story: Apocalypse," so I shared a few spoiler-y comments on that.
Finally, I gave shoutouts to a couple podcasts I've been enjoying lately: Chris Cooling's "Forgotten TV," and Matt Triest and Jon Waugh's "Damn That Television." I'll include a couple of links in my show notes. Enjoy!
